Tracy Anderson 5 Day Diet Cleanse

In one of my recent posts about Tracy Anderson and Gwyneth Paltrow’s quick weight loss and body changing plan – I included the five-day diet that Gwyneth used to prep for Iron Man 2 and for red carpet premieres. If it works for Gwyneth – it may work for you or me, right?

So, Gwyneth says she uses a detox program occasionally, called the “clean program” by Dr. Junger. In her five-day diet that I posted – Gwyneth lists some power health shakes that she drinks before working out and as meal replacements during the diet. These shakes have some of the Dr. Junger Clean products in them – the “Nourish” powder and the “Move” powder.  Although, I think it ideal to order these products and follow the diet exactly as Tracy Anderson and Gwyneth suggest, (I mean the proof is in the photos – she looks amazing) if you can’t (due to time constraints or financial reasons for example) – consider using any protein powder that you have on hand.

I made the morning protein shake on the diet and replaced the “Nourish” powder with Hemp Protein Powder and took fiber capsules to replace the “Move Powder” – you could also add fiber powder to your shake if they have that.

My recipe went like this:
  • 3/4 cup organic almond milk
  • ½ c crushed ice
  • ¼- ½ c water – depending on desired thickness
  • handful of organic frozen blueberries
  • 2 Tbsp of  Hemp Protein Powder
  • 1 packet of stevia vanilla powder

Blend in blender until smooth – this is icy, sweet and delicious. 

Again, to follow the diet exactly is ideal for optimum results and weight loss but if you are doing this for a longer time and don’t care as much about drastic weight loss results- then playing with the ingredients to your taste is great.
You could also use whey protein powder or any other good protein powder that you like.
